BE THE CHANGE SCHOLARSHIP

This past summer Young Achievers Youth Organization had an amazing opportunity on hosting their very first scholarship competition, where the criteria was to upload a video explaining how you expect to "Be The Change" in your life and community. The 2021 "Be The Change" scholarship reward recipient was Michelle Taffe, current Howard University scholar and Oklahoma City Native. YAYO is excited to be able to help financially as well as physically where they can. This scholarship was funded 100% by YAYO's founder and current director, DeMaria Walters, which we would like to just thank for continuing to Be the Change you would like to see in the world. Be The Change!
YAYO'S FIRST BIRTHDAY : ANNUAL FAMILY FIELD DAY
July 18, 2021
YAYO's second annual Family Field Day and a celebration of the organization becoming one years old. This amazing event was filled with free food, 50 backpacks and school supplies given away, kickball, volleyball, snow cones, a dunk tank, raffles, the best DJ in the city and so much more. When YAYO throws community events, its about the experience. 60+ people of all ages were in attendance, cash prizes were given away and most importantly it was another successful way YAYO has bridged the community gap on coming together for the better of the youth. Kids just want to have fun!
WINGS & WORSHIP
July 2, 2021
Three of Young Achievers Youth Organization's young men helped at local community event. Wings and Worship was a different style event post covid, for fellowship, praising and most importantly for all to come and just worship God himself. Following the worship, wings were served to everyone in attendance by the YAYO boys that physically helped with the smooth process of the event. Praise God!
SOUTHERN STAR CENTRAL GAS PIPELINE SPONSORSHIP

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline has shown notice to what the Young Achievers Youth Organization is doing in order to help the youth within the community. Which YAYO is grateful and excited to announce them as a current Bronze Sponsor for the 2021 year. As YAYO's first cooperate sponsor, they are striving continuously showcase the change they are becoming within the communities around Oklahoma.

Christmas time is a time for giving, love, family and an all around good spirits. So when the Young Achievers Youth Organization received word about a fire that took away a families home, gifts and necessities they had to respond. Christmas eve, two amazing families were sponsored and taken care of with over 30 combined gifts by the YAYO family. Merry Christmas to All.
